RALLY TO END LIVE EXPORTS

On 7:30 on Tuesday, the brave and dedicated investigators with Animals Australia have once again shown us some of the cruelties inflicted on animals that are sent overseas for slaughter. Live export rules are supposed to protect animals from this enormous suffering. But because the government has failed to bring criminal charges against offending export companies, these horrendous practices continue.
Now even a major live export company is saying that tougher penalties are needed within its own industry. We cannot accept this unnecessary suffering.
Join me at a rally in the city this Saturday as we take a stand for animals and build pressure on the government to end this cruelty once and for all.
