Family Violence Panel Discussion

In Australia, almost two women die from family violence every week. This unacceptable fact has been exposed nation-wide. It's time for more than just talk.  It's time for action to reverse this trend and move forward towards a safer world for women and children. (Photo: ABC Online)

Join us for a panel discussion to get beyond the headlines, gain a deeper understanding of the issue and talk about what we can do to prevent violence against women.

On the night we'll be joined by:

  • Nina Springle MLC, Greens spokesperson on family violence prevention;
  • Kathleen Maltzahn, former Councillor and violence against women campaigner;
  • Fiona McCormack, CEO of Domestic Violence Victoria; and
  • Lauren Hills, Manager at Moonee Valley Legal Service to talk about their Safe from Harm school program.

RSVP below to attend our second Melbourne Meetup on Thursday, July 23 at 6pm. At the conclusion of the panel, you are invited to continue the discussion over refreshments.
