In response to Scott Morrison being announced as the new Treasurer, Greens Treasury spokesperson Adam Bandt MP said:

"Scott Morrison must use the next Budget to tackle the rising gap between rich and poor."

"Scott Morrison must be prepared to rule back in what Joe Hockey ruled out. The country can no longer sustain unfair tax breaks for large corporations and the very wealthy."
