Join us for Event Coordinator Training on Tuesday September 22!
As our Replace Hazelwood campaign starts to ramp up, and we begin to have meaningful conversations with voters, learn how to run your own doorknock or phonebank, including:
- The process of organising an event
- How to train and support volunteers in doorknocking/making calls
- How to debrief and give volunteers a sense of shared purpose and achievement
One-on-one conversations with voters are key to campaign success. Event coordinators are important in allowing us to engage in more conversations about the need to replace Hazelwood with clean energy, and the creation of local jobs through mine rehabilitation. The more event coordinators we have the more conversations we are able to engage in.
Arrive early to settle in with a cup of tea or coffee.
