SAY NO TO RACISM DOORKNOCK
The rise of Pauline Hanson, Donald Trump, and Cory Bernardi has provided legitimacy to racist, hateful views. It's more important than ever to show the far-right that here in Melbourne we are proud of our diversity and will continue to make our city a place of respect, acceptance, and welcome.
We know that having one-on-one conversations is the most effective way to connect with our community and build support for this important issue.
That's why we will be holding a Day of Action in Melbourne on the 13th of May. We will be doorknocking and having conversations with people about how they can Say No to Racism and stand in solidarity with those experiencing discrimination.
Never doorknocked before? No worries, training will be provided on the day! Plus, we'll be holding a Responding to Racism Workshop on April 27 to give you the opportunity to hear from community members who have experienced discrimination and learn from them how you can best support them.
