SCRUTINEER TRAINING
Join us for Scrutineer Training on Thursday 16 May.
Scrutineers observe, tally and report votes as they are counted by the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC). It is an essential part of election night, we need to make sure that every vote that should go to us, does.
This training is crucial for all first time Scrutineers. For those who have scurtineered before we will be running a refresher training at the same time.
The training will cover:
- What you can and can't do as a Scrutineer;
- What to expect;
- A simulation of the scrutiny, so you can get a sense of what it will be like on the night;
- Any questions you might have.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to settle in and bring a notebook with you to take notes.
