Do you know an outstanding volunteer who is doing great work in their community?

Nominate them now for the Melbourne MP’s Volunteer Awards, hosted by Adam Bandt MP. Nominations close 15 June.

Adam is inviting people in Melbourne to nominate for the Volunteer Awards and to celebrate the significant contribution made by volunteers locally in our community. So many essential community services and local community groups are driven by volunteers, and it’s really important that we recognise their efforts.

The Melbourne MP’s Volunteer Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the huge contribution made by outstanding volunteers.

Through the Melbourne MP’s Volunteer Awards Adam is looking forward to saying thank you to exceptional volunteers, on behalf of the Melbourne community.

Volunteers can be nominated for an Award in a range of categories, including:

  1. MP’s Volunteer of the Year Award
  2. Junior Volunteer Award (17 and under)
  3. Youth Volunteer Award (18-25 years)
  4. Senior Volunteer Award (65 and over)
  5. Business Volunteer Award
  6. Education Award
  7. Emergency Management Award
  8. Environment Award
  9. Innovation in Volunteering Award (for an organisation or individual)
  10. Long-term Commitment to Community Service Award

Nominations are due on June 15 2013.
